I designed this place for one reason: so people could discuss the topics that interest me. :-}

It started with my articles. After I started getting emails in response to my first ones, I placed a section to allow people to reply and show their responses online. Being the person I am, I also allowed people to read my rebuttals. My whole reason for this was to let others see multiple views and responses to get more realistic answers.

Well, I realized if we're going to show discussions, we might as well build a forum format. This will also let people discuss items I care about other than my articles. My life's work is martial arts and philosophy and I also love the business world, so why not open discussions to these?

I used a few of my favorite forum boards for inspiration and as templates, so if anything here looks familiar that may be why. That and the fact that most forums are generally quite similar.
